Instant sooji dhokla is very easy to make at home.

Instant Sooji Dhokla

Ingredients to make Instant Sooji Dhokla

  • Suji 2 cup
  • yogurt 2 cup
  • turmeric powder 1tsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Instant Sooji Dhokla

  1. BRING A BOWL,ADD 2 CUP SUJI
  2. ADD 2 CUP YOGURT
  3. ADD 1TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  4. ADD 1 TBSP SUGAR
  5. ADD SALT TO TASTE
  6. ADD1 TBSP OIL
  7. ADD 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
  8. ADD 1/2 CUP OF WATER
  9. MIX THIS WELL.
  10. MIX WELL AND KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 15 MINUTES.
  11. BRING DHOKLA MOULD AND GREASE SOME OIL.
  12. HEAT A STEAMER,ADD 3-4 CUPS OF WATER IN IT.
  13. COVER IT WITH A LID .
  14. BRING THE BATTER,ADD 1/4 TSP BAKING SODA
  15. ADD 1 POUCH OF ENO
  16. MIX IT WELL.
  17. POUR THIS BATTER INTO THE MOULD
  18. SPRINKLE SOME RED CHILLI POWDER
  19. WHEN WATER IS BOILING,REMOVE THE LID
  20. ADD THE BATTER MOULD INTO THE STEAMER
  21. COVER IT AND COOK THIS FOR 15-20 MINUTES ON MEDIUM FLAME.
  22. OPEN THE LID AND ADD A TOOTHPIC INTO IT,WHEN IT COMES OUT CLEAN,DHOKLA IS READY.
  23. HEAT A TADKA PAN,ADD 3 TBSPS OF OIL
  24. ADD 1TSP MUSTARD SEEDS,6-8 GREEN CHILLI SLIT
  25. ADD 12-15 CURRY LEAVES
  26. SPRINKLE TADKA MIX OVER THE DHOKLA.
  27. GARNISH WITH SOME GREATED CARROT AND COCONUT
  28. GARNISH SOME CORIANDER LEAVES.
  29. SERVE HOT WITH TOMATO KETCHUP.
