These popular street dumplings are so versatile. You just need to master the technique and you can twist them to suit your palate.

Ingredients to make Veg momos

  • For Dough: 2 cups maida
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil
  • water as required
  • For filling: 1 cup cabbage - grated
  • 1cup paneer - grated
  • 1 table spoon carrot - grated
  • Black pepper 1 tspn crushed
  • salt to taste

How to make Veg momos

  1. For dough: Mix the maida, salt and oil and knead to a stiff dough with water. Keep aside.
  2. For filling: Mix cabbage, paneer, carrot, black pepper and salt.
  3. Roll the dough thin and round sheet.Take a sheet, wet edges and place some filling in the center.
  4. Bring edges together to cover the filling. Twist to seal and fill the rest in the same way.
  5. Steam for about 10 minutes and serve with red chilli and tomato sauce.

My Tip:

You can use 1/2 tea spoon maggei masala e magic in filling for different taste.
