Ingredients to make Veg haribhari

  • For gravy
  • oil 2 teaspoon
  • cloves 2-3
  • Whole peppercorns 5-6
  • Small piece of cinnamon 1
  • green chillies 4-5
  • Garlic cloves 5-7
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Chopped raw (green ) tomato 1
  • Chopped fresh cilantro leaves with stem 1/2 cup
  • mint leaves 5-6
  • Blanched spinach 3/4 cup
  • Other ingredients
  • Boiled vegetables ( green peas, French beans, American corn ) 3/4 cup
  • Chopped capsicum 1
  • oil 3 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon

How to make Veg haribhari

  1. HEAT OIL IN A PAN
  2. ADD CLOVES, CINNAMON , PEPPER CORNS, GARLIC AND GREEN CHILLIES
  3. SAUTE IT. ADD CHOPPED ONION
  4. ADD CHOPPED RAW TOMATO AND SAUTE TILL IT BECOMES SOFT
  5. TRANSFER TO A BOWL AND LET IT COOL DOWN
  6. TAKE MIXER IN CHUTNEY BOWL
  7. ADD FRESH CILANTRO
  8. ADD BLANCHED SPINACH AND MINT LEAVES
  9. ADD LITTLE WATER
  10. GRIND INTO MIXWR AND MAKE PASTE
  11. IN A SAME PAN HEAT OIL
  12. ADD CHOPPED CAPSICUM AND SAUTE IT
  13. ADD GREEN GRAVY MIXTURE AND SAUTE TILL OIL SEPERATES
  14. ADD SALT AND GARAM MASALA
  15. ADD BOILED VEGETABLES AND MIX WELL
  16. ADD LITTLE WATER IF REQUIRED.COVER WITH LID AND COOK FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES
  17. VEG HARIBHARI IS READY TO SERVE
