About German potato dumplings Recipe

It is very yummy and delicious recipe of germany. Cream sauce is base of this recipe.cheesy ,healthy and easy avaibility of ingredents in home itself.

Ingredients to make German potato dumplings

  • 2 big boiled potato
  • 3/4 cup cornflour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 glass milk
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • parsley for garnishing

How to make German potato dumplings

  1. Take boiled potato and mash them
  2. Add 1 egg
  3. And cornflour
  4. Add salt and pepper
  5. Mix all of them finely
  6. And bring it together like a dough
  7. Devide in equal parts
  8. Make balls of them
  9. Heat water in a pan
  10. When it boils add balls in it
  11. Steam and cook them for 15 min.
  12. Till them make sauce
  13. Heat pan and add butter
  14. Add flour and saute
  15. Then add tomato sauce and mix
  16. Now add milk and stir continuously
  17. No lumps required
  18. Add grated cheese and mix sauce
  19. Cook till creamy
  20. Add salt and pepper
  21. Be careful about salt as cheese is already salty
  22. When dumplings boiled take them out from water
  23. Put them in serving plate and pour sauce upon them
  24. Sprinkle parsley and serve hot.
