Ingredients to make Wheat flour choco sponge cake

  • wheat flour 1 cup
  • wheat flour 1 table spoon for dusting
  • eggs 2
  • sugar 3/4 cup
  • oil 1/2 cup
  • Cocoa 1 1/2 tablespoon
  • Coffe powder 1 teaspoon
  • Dry fruit chopped 2 tablespoon (optional)
  • Milk 1/2cup
  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  • baking soda 1/2 teaspoon

How to make Wheat flour choco sponge cake

  1. Preheat oven at 180 degree centigrade for atleast 5 to 8 minutes
  2. Grease baking tray with butter or oil. Dust 1 tablespoon of wheat flour to prevent the cake from sticking to the tray
  3. Sieve wheat flour baking powder baking soda twice and keep it aside
  4. Sieve cocoa and coffee in a separate bowl
  5. Blend eggs sugar till sugar mix completely and mixture becomes frothy. Add oil to the mixture and blend it again
  6. Transfer the wet ingredients to the wheat flour mix and keep whisking it.
  7. Now divide the combine mixture in two parts. Transfer the half amount in coco mix to get the wet chocolate mix.
  8. Pour the white mix first in the baking tray or vessel. Then some chocolate mix. Pour one after another to get the marble effect.
  9. Place the baking dish in oven for 35 minutes. Check with the toothpick or knife after 30 minutes. If it gets out clean the cake is ready
