About Pappu Recipe

This is an easy recipe to make pappu dal, to be served with just some steamed rice on the side.

Ingredients to make Pappu

  • moong dal - 1/2 cup
  • cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • curry leaves - 10
  • Dry red chillies - 2
  • ghee

How to make Pappu

  1. WASH THE MOONG DAL AND PUT THIS IN A PRESSURE COOKER, WITH REQUIRED AMOUNT OF WATER.
  2. HEAT ANOTHER PAN WITH SOME GHEE, ADD THE CUMIN SEEDS, DRY RED CHILLIES AND CURRY LEAVES.
  3. CLOSE THE LID AND PRESSURE COOK THIS UNTIL THE DAL IS BOILED. OPEN THE LID, ADD SALT AND MIX. SERVE
