This receipe is loved by everyone at my home.I love this as its the most easiest & quickest biryani ever made

Paneer biryani

Ingredients to make Paneer biryani

  • 1 cup rice(basmati rice optional)
  • 1 cup dices veggies of your choice
  • 1 cup paneer cubes
  • tej patta 2-3 leaves
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste(optional)
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp biryani masala(2tbsp for spicer version)
  • salt
  • Ghee butter or oil
  • water
  • Few kajus / cashew nuts

How to make Paneer biryani

  1. Heat oil in pressure cooker
  2. Add tej patta and onions(1 sliced onion) fry till golden brown
  3. Add ginger garlic paste
  4. Add veggies and stir fry
  5. Add panner and mix well
  6. Add masala and salt give a quick mix
  7. Add rice mix well
  8. Add curd and mix well
  9. Adjust water accordingly (curd and veggies will leave some water so add accordingly.diffrent rice require different quantity of water too sometimes)
  10. Close the lid and cook for 2-3 whistles
  11. On when cooled
  12. Heat a pan add butter ghee or oil
  13. Add onions and fry till golden brown then add some kaju saute for 2min(you can either skip this step or add this while cooking itself)
  14. Pour this above ur plated dish while serving
