About Baked Meatball Spaghetti Recipe

A little twist to normal spaghetti, in a baked version

Baked Meatball Spaghetti

Ingredients to make Baked Meatball Spaghetti

  • FOR THE MEATBALLS
  • chicken/Soya kheema 250 grms
  • garlic pods crushed 8 to 10 crushed
  • BASIL powder 1 tsp
  • Oregano powder 1 tsp
  • garlic flakes 1 tsp
  • 1 bread slice
  • 1 egg
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • ARABBIATA SAUCE
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 6 tomatoes blanched and pureed
  • 10 garlic pods crushed
  • salt to taste
  • Oregano 1 tbsp
  • Basil 1 tsp
  • For spaghetti
  • 250 grms spaghetti boiled(follow packet instructions)
  • OTHER INGREDIENTS
  • olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese for topping
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes to sprinkle

How to make Baked Meatball Spaghetti

  1. BOIL the spaghetti in boiling water with salt till almost done.Keep aside
  2. FOR MEATBALL
  3. Marinate the meat ball with the INGREDIENTS mentioned.Set aside.
  4. ARABBIATA SAUCE
  5. Take olive oil in a pan and add chopped onions
  6. Add the crushed garlic pods
  7. And the tomato puree
  8. Add the dry spices along with salt and pepper and let it cook till oil separates
  9. Make small ball of the meat mixture and add to our sauce.Let it cook for sometime
  10. When the meatballs are cooked add the boiled spaghetti and mix gently
  11. Add some grated cheese and sprinkle some chillie flakes and bake our spaghetti in a preheated oven at 180 D celcius for 10 mins
  12. Serve hot
