Ingredients to make Patatesli Gozleme/Turkish Potato & Cheese Gozleme

  • For Dough:
  • 2cups all purpose flour
  • 1cup Lukewarm water
  • 2tbsp oil
  • salt
  • For Stuffing:
  • 2nos potatoes (cooked & mashed)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1/2cup Cheese (grated)
  • 1cup spinach (chopped)
  • 1tsp pepper powder
  • salt

How to make Patatesli Gozleme/Turkish Potato & Cheese Gozleme

  1. Take the flour in a bowl, add salt, olive oil and combine well. Let it sit for 10 mins.
  2. Take all the ingredients given under the list for stuffing in a bowl, mix well and divide the filling as 4-5 portions.
  3. Divide the dough and roll it as thin as possible.
  4. Place a portion of the filling in the centre of the rolled dough, bring the edges to the centre to form as an envelope.
  5. Repeat the same with the rest of the dough.
  6. Heat a nonstick pan, place the prepared flatbread on the hot pan. Drizzle enough oil to cook the flatbread.
  7. Keep the flame in simmer and cook on both sides until the gozleme turns golden brown.
  8. Serve Warm.
