Ingredients to make Lotus flower Stir fry

  • 2 lotus flowers
  • 2/3 cup cooked moong dhal
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2 chopped green chillies
  • 4 chopped garlic pods
  • 3/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp urad dhal
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 1 tsp jaggery

How to make Lotus flower Stir fry

  1. DISCARD THE OUTER PETALS OF 2 LOTUS FLOWERS
  2. DISCARD THE CENTRE PART. WASH AND CHOP
  3. ADD 2 TSP OIL AND 1/2 TSP MUSTARD
  4. 1/2 TSP URAD DHALL
  5. 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS
  6. 1/4 TSP ASAFOETIDA
  7. 10 CURRY LEAVES
  8. 4 CHOPPED GARLIC CLOVES
  9. 2 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES
  10. 1 FINLEY CHOPPED ONION
  11. 3/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  12. CHOPPED LOTUS PETALS
  13. REQUIRED SALT
  14. SAUTE FOR 2 MINUTES
  15. ADD 2/3 COOKED MOONG DHALL PLUS 1/3 CUP WATER
  16. CLOSE AND COOK FOR 2 MINUTES
  17. ADD 1TSP JAGGERY
  18. SWIRL IN 1 TSP GHEE
  19. READY TO SERVE WITH RICE AND CHAPPATHI
