Ingredients to make Stuffed Paneer Cheela

  • chick pea flour/ besan 1 cup
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • turmeric 1tsp
  • cumin powder 1tsp
  • Chat masala 1tsp
  • salt asper taste
  • oil as required
  • Stuffing
  • 1cup grated paneer
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 2 chopped green chillies
  • 1/4cup chopped green corriander
  • 1tsp redchilli powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 1tsp Chat masala
  • Roasted cumin powder

How to make Stuffed Paneer Cheela

  1. TAKE 1 CUP GRATED COTTAGE CHEESE, ADD 1 CHOPPED ONION, 1 TOMATO
  2. ADD 1/4 CUP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, 1 TSP GREEN CHILLIES
  3. ADD SALT, RED CHILLI POWDER & CHAT MASALA TO TASTE
  4. ADD 1 TSP ROASTED CUMIN POWDER, MIX WELL
  5. THE FILLING IS READY, SET ASIDE
  6. TAKE 1 CUP GRAM FLOUR, 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  7. ADD SALT, CHAT MASALA, CUMIN POWDER TO TASTE
  8. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER TO MAKE A SMOOTH, RUNNY BATTER
  9. ADD 1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER & MIX, THE CHEELA BATTER IS READY NOW
  10. HEAT A NONSTICK TAVA, GREASE WITH 1 TSP OIL, POUR & SPREAD A LADLE FULL OF BATTER
  11. COOK ON MEDIUM HEAT
  12. ADD SOME OIL ON TOP, FLIP & COOK TILL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP BOTH SIDES
  13. ADD 2 TBSP COTTAGE CHEESE MIXTURE ON TOP
  14. FOLD THE CHEELA
  15. PLACE ON A SERVING PLATE
