Simple flavors of lime and garlic in a plate of spaghetti to make you feel full and contented .

Lemon Garlic Spaghetti ( Italian )

Ingredients to make Lemon Garlic Spaghetti ( Italian )

  • 200 gms spaghetti
  • water sufficient to boil the spaghetti.
  • salt to taste.
  • 4 cloves of garlic or more if you prefer.
  • . 3 small green chillis deseeded finely cut.
  • . 1 to 2 tsp dried parsley.
  • 1 tsp dried chives
  • pinch of cracked pepper
  • 1/2 cup of cooked green peas.
  • some shredded baby spinach leaves.
  • juice of 1 small lime.
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Grated cheddar for the topping.
  • . 1 tsp of fresh lemon zest.

How to make Lemon Garlic Spaghetti ( Italian )

  1. n a large broad pan cook the spaghetti with sufficient water with salt to taste and cook the spaghetti to al dente. Keep this aside.
  2. In a skillet , with 2 tsp of olive oil sautee the minced garlic , finely cut green chillis and add the cooked peas.
  3. Add the shredded baby spinach leaves. Toss the cooked spaghetti in the skillet with all remaining ingredients to coat well
  4. .Do not dry out the spaghetti. There should be some moisture left. Add the lemon zest last.
  5. Place the cooked spaghetti on a serving plate and when little cooled drizzle the lime juice and serve with grated cheddar cheese.
