ABOUT Nani's masala fish RECIPE

My granny always make this fish when special guest arrived... N it was like feast for them.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fish 5 to 6 pieces
  2. Oil 4 tbsp
  3. Fenugreak seed 1 tsp
  4. Kalonji/ nigella seeds1 tsp
  5. Finely chopped tomatoes 3
  6. Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  7. Khatai or aamchur powder 2 tsp
  8. red chilly powder 1 tbsp
  9. Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Soak properly washed fish in salty water for 15 minutes after that drain it.
  2. Heat oil in kadai and fry fishes til done. Remove on plate.
  3. In same oil heat kalonji, fenugreak seed.
  4. Now add garlic paste, tomatoes, red chilly powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, salt, and water. cook til oil comes up. And masalas cook completely.
  5. Ad khatai or aamchur powder in masala.
  6. Now drop fish pices in it. Cover the lid and cook till 10 minutes on low flame.
  7. When done garnish with coriander leaves.
