This is an easy and quick recipe of raita mde with red pumpkin.

Ingredients to make Red pumpkin raita

  • Red pumpkin bowl 1 cup
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 th tsp
  • coriander
  • curry leaves
  • oil
  • mustard seed 1/2 tsp
  • cumin seed - 1 tsp

How to make Red pumpkin raita

  1. Wash, peel and chop the pumpkin. Boil them in some water with turmeric powder in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiled, mash them a bit.
  3. Now whisk the curd and add salt. Add the pumpkin into this.
  4. Heat a pan with some oil, add the mustard and cumin seeds. Then add the curry leaves and coriander leaves.
  5. Add this tempering to the raita, mix well and serve.
