Ingredients to make Cashew apple

  • 1 cup cashew
  • 1/2cup sugar
  • 1/4cup water
  • cloves as required
  • 1tsp ghee/ clarified butter

How to make Cashew apple

  1. TAKE ONE CUP CASHEW
  2. GRIND CASHEW IN A FINE POWDER
  3. SEIVE IT
  4. KEEP IT ASIDE
  5. TAKE 1/2CUP SUGAR
  6. ADD 1/4CUP WATER
  7. ADD CASHEW POWDER
  8. MIX WELL
  9. KEEP STIRRING TILL MIXTURE LEAVES THE WOK
  10. TAKE IT OUT
  11. ADD 1TSP CLARIFIED BUTTER
  12. MIX WELL AFTER COOLING
  13. MAKE A DOUGH
  14. MAKE SMALL BALLS AND MAKE A DENT
  15. COLOUR THE APPLES WITH YELLOW LIQUID FOOD COLOUR
  16. GIVE SOME RED COLOUR STROKES ON THE APPLE SO AS TO GIVE PROPER LOOK
  17. KEEP ASIDE FOR 10 MINUTES .
  18. POKE A CLOVE ON THE TOP FOR STEM
  19. KEEP ASIDE TO DRY COLOURS
  20. STORE IN FRIDGE FOR 8 TO 10 DAYS
