About Mango Mastani Recipe

Its a Pune special refreshing drink for summers. Pretty rich and super delicious! Typically the drink is made with the combination of thich shake, ice cream, mango pieces and nuts.

Ingredients to make Mango Mastani

  • For mango shake:
  • 1/2 cup chopped alphonso mango
  • 1 cup Full cream Milk
  • 1tbsp sugar
  • mango Icecream :
  • 1 cup mango pulp
  • 1/2 cup skimmed milk
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp sugar or as per taste
  • Chopped mango pieces and nuts to garnish

How to make Mango Mastani

  1. Take 1/2 cup of chopped mangoes + 1 cup full cream milk. Blend together and refrigerate.
  2. Mango Icecream Of course you can have a ready made version or make your own. Mix 1 cup mango pulp with half cup skimmed milk and 1/2 cup yogurt.
  3. Freeze and give another blend after 5-6 hrs. Freeze again overnight.
  4. Fill a serving glass 3/4 with the thick mango shake. Now, add the mango icecream in scoops (preferably in the center) topped with chopped mango pieces and nuts. Enjoy chilled.
