Roasted murmura

Ingredients to make Roasted murmura

  • Murmura 3 cups
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Asafoetida 1 pinch
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves 8-10
  • Roasted chana daal 1/2 cup
  • Roasted peanuts 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Chat masala 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder 1/2 tsp

How to make Roasted murmura

  1. Heat the oil in a kadahi, add asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves and all the ingredients. Then add murmura in the end and stir constantly on a low flame till it becomes crispy.
  2. Take it out in a bowl and let it cool.
  3. Once cooled, store it in an airtight container.

My Tip:

We can add dry fruits and poha as well.
