Ingredients to make Kondakadalasadam

  • Kondakadala 1/4
  • red chilly 2
  • dhania 1 spoon
  • Jeergam 1/2 spoon
  • onion 1 big size
  • tomato 2 no
  • ginger small piece
  • garlic 5 no
  • coconut milk 2 tumbler
  • Basmati rice 1 tumbler
  • turmeric powder 1 spoon
  • salt to taste
  • butter 2 spoon
  • ghee 1 spoon
  • Corainder leaves 5o grams

How to make Kondakadalasadam

  1. All ingredients
  2. Half boiled kondakadala
  3. Dry roasted dhania Jeerga Red chilly
  4. In a pan add butter add Onion fry till golden brown Add ginger garlic to it Tomato 2 spoon Half cooked kondakadala
  5. Then grind them into paste Along with dry roasted Ingredients
  6. In the cooker add sombu Seeds bay leaves Flower add oil Or ghee to fry it
  7. Add onions tomato to it and sauta it
  8. Saoked and drained Basmati rice
  9. Coconut milk
  10. Grinded paste
  11. Add it along the onion tomato in cooker
  12. Add rice to it
  13. Stir it then add remaining Half boiled kondakadala Coconut milk Turmeric powder
  14. Add salt to taste
  15. Let it give 1 or 2 whistle
  16. Cooked kondakadala sadam
  17. Add corainder leaves on top of it and serve
  18. Serve with onion raitha

My Tip:

Instead of butter or ghee u can use cooking oil
