Shikanji - Indian Lemonade

Ingredients to make Shikanji - Indian Lemonade

  • 2 Cups water
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • A pinch black pepper powder
  • A few Ice Cubes
  • mint leaves for garnish

How to make Shikanji - Indian Lemonade

  1. Take two cups of water in a bowl.
  2. Add the lemon juice, sugar, black salt, cumin powder and pepper powder.
  3. Mix well till the sugar dissolves. Adjust the sugar and black salt as per your taste.
  4. Strain the prepared lemonade into another vessel.
  5. Pour the strained lemonade into the jug and refrigerate till time of serving.
  6. When serving, pour shikanji into tall glasses, garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices. Add ice cubes and serve.
