Sago Vadai

Ingredients to make Sago Vadai

  • Soaked sago 2 cups
  • Rice flour 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • Maida flour 1/2 cup
  • Mashed potato 1/2 cup
  • Chilly powder 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Asafoetida I pinch
  • oil

How to make Sago Vadai

  1. Soak the sago for 12 hours.
  2. Boil the potatoes and mash them.
  3. Mix sago and the mashed potatoes.
  4. Add rice flour, maida flour, corn flour in the sago mixture.
  5. And salt, chilly powder, garam masala powder and asafoetida, mix it well.
  6. Heat the oil and deep fry the vadai.
