ABOUT Chicken Handi RECIPE

A magical twist of flavour using yogurt and kasturi methi.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 200g Chicken
  2. 3 Onion
  3. 50g yogurt
  4. 2 small tomato
  5. 2 tbsp garlic ginger pest
  6. 2 green chili
  7. 1 tbsp kashmiri mirchi
  8. 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
  9. 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tbsp Cumin Powder
  11. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  12. 2 tbsp kasturi methi
  13. 2 tbsp salt
  14. 1/2 Tbsp sugar
  15. 5 tbsp mustard oil
  16. 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  17. 1/2 tbsp home made garam masala
  18. 2 Clove
  19. 1 Cinnamon stick
  20. 2 cardamom
  21. 2 Bay Leaves
  22. 1/2 gram flour
  23. 3 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken by using yogurt, cumin powder, coriander powder,kashmiri Mirchi,1/2 tbsp salt,ginger garlic pest, 2tbsp mustard oil.
  2. Store marinated chicken for 2 hour .
  3. Take a pan
  4. Add 2tbsp mustard oil
  5. 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  6. Add garam masala
  7. Fry chopped onion with garam masala
  8. Add turmeric powder
  9. Add chili powder
  10. Add garlic ginger pest
  11. Add cumin powder
  12. Add coriander powder
  13. Add gram flour
  14. Add chopped tomato
  15. Add salt
  16. Add sugar
  17. Cooked it very well
  18. Add marinated chicken
  19. Cooked it for 10 minutes
  20. Then add cumin powder
  21. Add coriander powder
  22. Add garam masala powder
  23. 3 tbsp milk
  24. Add kasturi methi
  25. Cooked it for another 5 minutes
  26. Add half cup water
  27. Cook for another 5 minutes
  28. Garnish with chopped green chili
