How to make Sukhdi

  1. Grease a plate or mould and keep ready on one side.
  2. Heat ghee in a non stick pan.
  3. Add wheat flour and cook for few minutes on low flame. Keep stirring in between till it leaves the ghee and nice aroma is there.
  4. Now turn off the flame. Add grated or powdered jaggery.
  5. Mix and jaggery will melt.
  6. Immediately transfer to the greased plate or mould.
  7. Let it cool and it will set.
  8. Once completely cool, remove from the mould and cut into desired shape. Generally it is cut into diamond shape but I have kept long logs.
  9. Garnish it with roasted melon seeds and sesame seeds.
