Samak Rice Kheer

Ingredients to make Samak Rice Kheer

  • 1 litre milk
  • 1/2 cup samak rice
  • Sugar as per taste
  • Saffron - a few strands
  • Elaichi powder 1 tsp
  • Pistachios to garnish

How to make Samak Rice Kheer

  1. Heat the milk for a few minutes. Add in the samak rice and keep stirring.
  2. Add in saffron strands and elaichi powder and let it come to a boil.
  3. Add in sugar and keep stirring. Turn off the gas after the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Serve hot or chilled. Garnished with pistachios.
My Tip: Keep stirring so that it does not stick to the pan.
