A healthy dish of spinach , tofu and sesame seeds with mild flavor of Korean spices.

Korean Spinach Tofu stir fry salad

Ingredients to make Korean Spinach Tofu stir fry salad

  • 1 cup firm tofu cubes.
  • 2 small bunches baby spinach
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic grated ( optional )
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Korean chili paste ( optional )
  • salt as needed

How to make Korean Spinach Tofu stir fry salad

  1. Drain tofu and chop into cubes . keep aside till needed..
  2. in a pan , add some sesame oil , add tofu cubes, add some soy sauce,
  3. panfry on high heat till tofu is mildly seared and crispy .
  4. wash the spinach leaves, and blanch them in hot water for few minutes, allow to drain in a colander.
  5. when the spinach looks a little dry and no moisture, chop them into ribbons or smaller pieces, you can also tear the leaves with hand s.
  6. in the pan add sesame oil , toss the chopped spinach on high heat , add toasted sesame seeds, add soy sauce, salt , ginger , garlic, 1 tsp Korean chili paste ,stir on medium heat
  7. in a bowl, arrange the stir fried spinach , add the seared tofu cubes, sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds. enjoy a healthy salad Korean style
