Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oil 2 tsp
  2. Asafoetida 1 pinch
  3. Ajwain 1/2 tsp
  4. Fannel seeds 1/2 tsp
  5. Kalonji 1/2 tsp
  6. Deggi mirch 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Black salt 1/4 tsp
  9. Grated raw mango 1/2 cup
  10. Sugar 1/2 cup
  11. Grated beetroot 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan add oil, hing, ajwain, saunf, kalonji , chilly powder, salt, black salt, saute for a minute on low flame.
  2. Add grated mango and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add sugar. The mixture will be a little watery. Add grated beetroot.
  3. Cook for 7-8 minutes. Consistency should be like a sauce. Turn off the flame.
  4. Let it cool, it will be thick like jam.
