Sabudana Khichdi

Ingredients to make Sabudana Khichdi

  • Sabudana soaked 250 gms
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • Boiled chopped potatoes 2 nos
  • Peanuts roasted and coarsely grounded 100gms
  • Curry leaves 8-10
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chillies 2 nos
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Fresh corriander chopped 50 gms

How to make Sabudana Khichdi

  1. Soak sabudana for atleast 5 hours. Once soaked, gently mix them and separate each ball.
  2. In a non stick pan add oil. When hot, add the cumin seeds and curry leaves. Once these crackle, add the diced potatoes and chopped green chillies.
  3. Cook potatoes till a slight crisp layer is formed. Add salt and red chilli powder.
  4. Add soaked sabudana. Mix well
  5. Add ground peanuts. Mix well
  6. Finally, add chopped fresh corriander and serve hot with curd.
My Tip: Soak sabudana overnight for best results.
