About Amritsari Fish Fry Recipe

Amritsari Fish Fry

Ingredients to make Amritsari Fish Fry

  • 600 gms Fish fillet cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup besan
  • 3 tbsp malt vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1/2 cup hung curd
  • 1 tsp Chat masala to sprinkle
  • oil for frying

How to make Amritsari Fish Fry

  1. Marinate fish with red chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice for 20 minutes
  2. Now add egg, besan, ajwain, vinegar, rice flour, curd to marinated fish. Mix well and keep it aside for 15 minutes
  3. Heat oil and deep fry until golden brown. Allow excess oil to be absorbed by absorbent towel
  4. Sprinkle chat masala and serve hot
