ABOUT Samo Rice Dosa (Navratri Special) RECIPE

Usually falari food requires lots of oil and is very heavy. Sometimes on fasting days we prefer ho have something healthy and light. So here we bring to you falari samo dosa which can be taken in fast and are very light and tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 Cup Samo rice (Bhagar)
  2. 3 medium boiled Potatoes
  3. 3 Tbsp peanut powder (moongphali churaa)
  4. ½ Tbsp chopped green chillies
  5. 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  6. ¼ Tps cumin powder
  7. Rock Salt to taste (sendha namak)
  8. Water as required
  9. For Peanut Curd Chutney
  10. ¼cup coriander leaves
  11. ¼ Cup curd
  12. 2 Tbsp crushed coconut
  13. 3 Tbsp peanut powder
  14. 2 green chillies
  15. Rock salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, take samo rice, wash it twice or thrice and soak it for 2 hours. After the rice has been soaked, drain the excess water.
  2. Now add samo rice with all other ingredients in the mixer grinder and make a smooth paste by adding required quantity of water in it.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan, sprinkle some water on the pan and wipe it off with a cotton cloth.
  4. Pour a spoonful of the samo dosa batter on pan and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin circle. Apply a little oil or ghee over it and cook on a high flame till the dosa turns brown in color and crisp.
  5. Fold over to make a semi-circle or a roll. Serve hot with peanut curd chutney.
  6. For peanut curd chutney:
  7. Add all the ingredients together in the mixer grinder and blend it till well incorporated and smooth.

I try this today ..with potato mujse to bna nhi theek.. Means crispy nhi hua.. Why?
