ABOUT Kolambichi Khichadi C.K.P Style/ Prawn Rice RECIPE

This is an authentic Maharashtrian Khichdi made with prawns.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 3 cups rice soaked for 30min
  2. 2 cups clean washed prawns
  3. Salt turmeric red chilli powder garam masala
  4. 2 onions chopped
  5. 2 potatoes chopped
  6. 1/2cup ginger garlic coriander paste
  7. 1cup coconut milk
  8. 5tsp ghee
  9. 2tsp mix cloves cardamom cinaman bay leaf black paper

Instructions

  1. Heat pan add ghee.add Jyada masala.add onions potato tomatoes saute.
  2. Add marinated prawns (salt turmeric red chilli powder garam masala)
  3. Add green paste in to prawns saute until it becomes dry.
  4. Add rice in to prawns saute well.
  5. Saute rice for 10min.
  6. Add hot water to the rice.let it cook on low heat.
  7. When rice is half cooked add coconut milk in to.add ghee.cook rice get well cook.
  8. Kolambichi luchador is ready to serve.
