First clean and wash the fish slices and add turmeric powder rub all over the fish then wash with water..
Heat sesame oil in a large pan and add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, garlic , curry leaves and sauté them for a minute.
Add chopped onion and some salt and sauté them until cooked.
once onion cooked well add the tomato purée and green chili mix them well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Now add all the spices powder and mix them well with onion and tomato.
once masala cooked and the spices start to release oil .
Now squeeze the soaked tamarind well to release all th pulp from it. strain the tamarind juice .
Add the tamarind juice in to the onion and tomato mixture.
Bring to a boil in a medium heat. once it’s boil add the coconut milk and bring to boil.
Now add the fish slices and cook in medium flame for 10-15 minutes.
simmer and cook until oil to appear on top of the gravy.
Do not stirring , avoid breaking the pieces of fish.
Now the fish Curry is ready.. add some coriander leaves on top of the gravy.
Serve the fish curry with white rice or roti.
