I made fish fry curry with a blend of authentic flavors and spices

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1Kg Fish (surmayi/singhara)
  2. 1tsp turmeric
  3. 2 lemon juice
  4. 1tsp Green chilli paste
  5. 1tsp red chilli powder
  6. 1tsp coriander powder
  7. 1tsp Garam Masala Powder
  8. 1tsp cumin seeds
  9. Oil
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1 tsp Chickpea Flour
  12. 1tsp corn flour
  13. 2 tomatoes puree
  14. 1 onion puree
  15. 3-4tsp curd
  16. Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Marinate fish with salt, pepper, chickpea flour, corn flour, turmeric, 1lemon juice and redi chilli powder. Let sit for 2hrs.
  2. Fry fish until golden brown.
  3. In a wok, heat oil and add cumin seeds, Ginger-Garlic paste, onion and tomato puree and saute till oil separates.
  4. Add little water and add salt, pepper, garam masala, turmeric, lemon juice, red chilli powder and green chillies. Cover and cook.
  5. Add water as required and cook until oil separates.
  6. Add fried fish and cook for another 2mins. Switch off the flame. Garnish with fresh Coriander leaves.
