Ingredients to make Navratras Mango phirni with Sama ke chawal

  • 1/2 liter Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sama rice soaked in water for half an hour
  • 1/2 cup Mango pulp
  • Elaichi powder 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 7 - 8 tsp or as per taste

How to make Navratras Mango phirni with Sama ke chawal

  1. Grind rice and mango pulp together.
  2. Boil milk, add sugar, once it starts boiling add the rice paste to the milk.
  3. Stir on a low flame till it starts to thicken. Add elaichi powder.
  4. Pour in serving bowls, let it cool then keep in refrigerator to chill. Serve chilled.
My Tip: Soak the rice for 15 - 20 minutes.
