About Spicy Mutton Chops Recipe

Spicy Mutton Chops

Ingredients to make Spicy Mutton Chops

  • 500 gm Mutton chops
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • 1 tsp cumin Power
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Power
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat masala
  • 4 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • Juice of 1 big lemon
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala powder
  • 3 tbsp raw papaya paste

How to make Spicy Mutton Chops

  1. Put all the ingredients except mutton chops in the food processor and make a fine paste.
  2. Clean, drain and pat dry mutton chops. Marinate the mutton with the blended paste. Keep in the fridge for at least 8-10 hours to marinate.
  3. Preheat oven at 180 degree centigrade. Line the roasting tray with aluminum foil and spray it with little oil.
  4. Transfer the chops onto the tray, do not pour extra marinade on the chops. Keep it aside for basting.
  5. Bake for around 20-25 minutes basting and turning in between or until they are cooked. Do not overcook the meat as it tends to get dry.

My Tip:

When cooked, remove from oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with lemon wedges.
