Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Oil 2 tbsp
  2. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  3. Whole red chilli 2
  4. Curry leaves 8-9
  5. Rock salt to taste
  6. Deggi Mirch 1/2 tsp
  7. Ginger chilli paste 1/2 tsp
  8. Curd 1 cup
  9. Rajgira flour 1/4 cup
  10. Water 2 cups
  11. Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  12. For pakodas:
  13. Chopped potato 1
  14. Samak rice flour 3 tbsp
  15. Rajgira flour 3 tbsp
  16. Rock salt to taste
  17. Chilli powder 2 pinch
  18. Chopped coriander 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add rajgira flour, curd and 1 cup water. Mix well. Keep aside.
  2. Heat a pan, add oil, jeera, curry leaves, ginger, chilli paste, salt, chilli powder. Saute for a few seconds, add 1 cup water and let it boil.
  3. Add curd mixture, stir constantly till you get the texture like kadhi. Turn off the flame, add in the pakodas and garnish with chopped coriander.
  4. For the pakoda: In a bowl mix all the ingredients, prepare the pakoda batter by adding little water. Pour small portions in hot oil and deep fry till golden brown.
  5. Add these pakodas in the kadhi and serve hot. Let it sit for 5 minutes for the pakodas to soak in the kadhi and become soft.
