ABOUT Gulab Lassi RECIPE

Lassi is the staple drink of Punjab. Churned yoghurt flavored with rose syrup and loaded with the goodness of dry fruits is a perfect summer refreshing drink. In Punjab lassi is served in their traditional brass ware tall glass. Often accompanied or followed by a lavish meal.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Yogurt/ Thick curd - 300ml
  2. Water - 1 cup
  3. Sugar - as needed
  4. Rose syrup - 1 tbsp
  5. Cashews chopped - few for garnish
  6. Rose petals - optional
  7. Ice cubes - plenty

Instructions

  1. Add curd, sugar and rose syrup in a pitcher or large mixing bowl and blend till sugar dissolves
  2. Add ice cubes in a serving glass and pour in the lassi prepared.
  3. Garnish with some chopped cashews and rose petals.
  4. Serve chilled
