My fav dish...
Boil the potatoes.
Heat the kadai on the gas stove and put 1 tsp oil, add the cumin seeds.
When cumin seeds starts to crackle, put the chopped onions and fry for sometime.
Add the ginger and garlic paste. Fry for 1/2 minute and add the chopped tomato and cashew nuts.
After a few minutes remove all the fried masala to a mixer and grind it to a fine paste.
Fry the masala paste and add all the garam masala, salt, turmeric and chili powder and cook it for 5 minutes.
Add the boiled potatoes and mix it properly with all the masalas.
Add 1 cup water and cover the kadai with the lid and cook again for 6 to 7 minutes. Serve hot.
