Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Soaked basmati rice 1.5 cups
  2. Boiled chole 1 cup
  3. Chopped onion -1 medium
  4. Chopped coriander leaves
  5. Chopped mint leaves
  6. Ghee 2 tbs
  7. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Biriyani masala 1.5 tsp
  11. Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
  12. Degi mirch 1.5 tsp
  13. Biriyani essence 1 tsp
  14. Curd 1/2 cup
  15. Saffron Strands 10-12
  16. Milk 2 tsp
  17. Oil 2 t.5 tbs
  18. Bayleaf 2
  19. Black pepper 5
  20. Cloves 5
  21. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  22. Star anise 2
  23. Cinnamon stick 2
  24. Ginger-garlic paste 1.5 tsp

Instructions

  1. ADD 1 TSP OIL,1 TSP SALT IN HOT BOILING WATER
  2. ADD CINNAMON STICKS,STAR ANISE (2-2), BLACK, GREEN CARDAMOM (1-1),2 BAYLEAF AND 1.5 CUP SOAKED RICE
  3. STIR BETWEEN & COOK FOR 8-10 MINUTES ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT
  4. 80% COOKED,NOW STARIN
  5. TAKE 1/2 CUP CURD INTO A MIXING BOWL
  6. ADD SALT TO TASTE,1 TSP KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER
  7. ADD 1.5 TSP DEGI MIRCH,1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  8. ADD 1/2 TSP CORIANDER POWDER,1.5 TSP BIRIYANI MASALA
  9. 1.5 TSP GINGER-GARLIC PASTE, MIX WELL
  10. ADD 1 CUP BOILED CHICKPEAS (CHOLE),MIX WELL
  11. ADD CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES & MINT LEAVES
  12. TAKE 2 TBS OIL IN A KADHAI
  13. ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN, BLACK PEPPER, CLOVES (5-5) & 1 MEDIUM CHOPPED ONION,SAUTE FOR 1 MINUTE
  14. ADD CURD-CHOLE MIXTURE
  15. COOK FOR 2-3 MINUTES ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT
  16. ADD 80% COOKED RICE
  17. ADD 1 TSP BIRIYANI ESSENCE
  18. ADD CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES,MINT LEAVES
  19. SOAKED SAFFRON(10-12 STRANDS) MILK 2 TSP
  20. ADD 2 TBS GHEE
  21. COVER & COOK FOR 15-20 MINUTES ON LOW HEAT
  22. AFTER 15 MINUTES, IT'S DONE
