Ingredients to make Canapies for fast

  • For canape:
  • Samak flour 1/2 cup
  • Rajgira flour 1/2 cup
  • Chopped green chilli 1
  • Rock salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  • Amchoor powder 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • For topping:
  • Boiled and coarsely mashed potatoes 3-4
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • Rock salt to taste
  • Chopped green chilli 1
  • Fresh tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • Ginger chilli paste 1/2 tsp
  • Lime juice 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Mint chutney 2-3 tbsp
  • Few mint leaves

How to make Canapies for fast

  1. For canape: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and make a dough by adding water little at a time.
  2. Take a lump from the dough, make a ball and roll it like chapati, cut into small canape and cook on hot tawa by applying some ghee.
  3. For topping: Heat oil in a pan, add jeera, ginger, chilli, tomato, salt, chilli powder, amchoor powder, cook till oil separates. Add potatoes and mix well with masala. Add coriander and turn off the flame.
  4. Take a canape, apply some mint chutney, put some potato topping, 1/2 tsp curd on top of it and garnish with mint leaves.
