Spinach and Corn on toast

Ingredients to make Spinach and Corn on toast

  • 4 slices of brown bread
  • 10 to 15 leaves of spinach
  • 1/2 cup sweet corn kernels boiled
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 2 tsp garlic finley chopped
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste

How to make Spinach and Corn on toast

  1. Wash the spinach leaves and chop them thin and long.
  2. In a wok, add butter when it melts, add in the chopped garlic, ginger garlic paste and saut :copyright:. Add in the spinach and toss well.
  3. Add salt and cover the wok for a minute so that the spinach gets soft. Open the cover and cook on a high flame so that the water of spinach is dried.
  4. Add the corn, pepper powder, oregano and saut :copyright: for a minute.
  5. After that add the cheese mix well and turn off the gas. Keep stirring to melt the cheese.
  6. Toast the bread slices spread the corn and spinach mixture on toast. Serve warm.
My Tip: You can sprinkle some chilli flakes on top to make it a little spicy. Add fresh basil for more flavour.
