ABOUT Palak parantha RECIPE

Regular use of spinach help us to prevent iron deficiency and boost our immunity. If leaves are lightly cooked then most of nutrients are still preserved.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 3 -4cup wheat flour
  2. 1.5cup chopped spinach
  3. 1/2 inch ginger
  4. 2 garlic cloves
  5. Garam masala or black pepper
  6. 1 green chili
  7. Salt as per need
  8. 1 to 2 tbsp water to blend spinach
  9. Oil for kneading and toasting

Instructions

  1. Wash the spinach then chopped and add ginger, garlic, chilli and blend all with small amount of water.
  2. Take wheat flour and add salt and knead the dough with green puree.
  3. Set aside for 30 min.
  4. Make equal size balls and roll the paratha.
  5. Heat the tawa and begin to toast . Flip it to other side and smear with oil.
  6. Serve with tomato ketchups, green chutney or beetroot chutney or pickle
