Panner cooked in fresh grounded aromatic spices..and..gravy

Khadhayi panner

Ingredients to make Khadhayi panner

  • 200 gm panner
  • 2 capsicum cut in dice shape
  • 2 onions cut in dice shape
  • 4 tomatoes &10 cashew nuts churned
  • 2 onions grated or churned
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste or crushed
  • 2 tsp Dry corriander
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Few bay leaves
  • 2 dry red chilli
  • 2 tsp dhaniya jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 to 1/12 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 to 1 cup Milk or cream
  • salt as per taste.
  • 1 tspRoasted kasturi methi powder
  • 3 to 4 tbsp ghee or oil

How to make Khadhayi panner

  1. In a khadhayi add 3 to 4 tbsp ghee or oil add bay leaves cinnamon stick fry add ginger garlic paste fry
  2. Add grated onion fry till golden brown on slow flame by the time In small khadhayi or pan dry roast whole dhaniya,jeera, red chilli, and crush them.. coarsely
  3. When onions turn golden sperates oil add tomato and kaju paste fry them on slow to medium add salt cover and cook till oil separates .
  4. Add haldi powder, dhaniya jeera powder, red chilli powder, garam masala , half quantity of fresh crushed khadhayi masala fry for few minutes.
  5. Add diced onions , capsicum mix and cover for 3 minutes,add very little water.
  6. Add panner , kasturi methi , milk or cream , adjust salt and consistency, remaining khadhayi masala..cover for 5 minutes on medium to slow flame .
  7. Serve hot , garnish with cream , corriander as u wish goes well with naan ,roti,

My Tip:

Adjust consistency with milk it will give richness to ..dish.
