Simply saute the vegetables, add paneer and give a Punjabi touch.

Ingredients to make Chilli Paneer in Punjabi Style

  • 2 onions finely sliced
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 1 Yellow Bell pepper
  • 1 Green Bell pepper
  • 2-3 clovesof garlic
  • 250 gms of paneer
  • salt as per taste
  • red chilli powder as per taste
  • turmeric powder as per taste
  • Dry coriander as per taste
  • Garam masala as per taste
  • 1 tsp of soya sauce
  • 1 tsp of tomato sauce
  • Green coriander to garnish
  • oil to saute

How to make Chilli Paneer in Punjabi Style

  1. Heat oil in karahi, add sliced onions, crushed Garlic along and all the three bell peppers diced.
  2. Add 1 tsp of soya sauce, tomato ketchup and saute the vegetables till they turn brownish.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dry coriander powder and mix well.
  4. Now we add the paneer which has been fried and cut in pieces.
  5. Mix with soft hands, ensuring the paneer does not break.
  6. Add some water if required.
  7. Add Garam Masala and garnish with green coriander.

My Tip:

I used homemade paneer which enhances the taste of the dish, making it very tasty.
