Methi Chicken Sukka

Ingredients to make Methi Chicken Sukka

  • 1/2 kg chicken
  • 1 bunch fenugreek leaves
  • 1tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1big onion
  • 2tablespoon red chilli( or as per taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cummin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 1table spoon dry fenugreek( kasuri methi)
  • 3-4 table spoon oil

How to make Methi Chicken Sukka

  1. Wash n clean chicken
  2. Heat oil in a pan
  3. Add onion fry till golden brown
  4. Add ginger garlic paste
  5. Add chicken
  6. Saute for a 1-2 minutes
  7. Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder, cummin powder, garam masala, coriander powder and salt
  8. Mix well and saute for a minute
  9. Add well beaten curd and mix
  10. Let it cook till oil separates
  11. Add finely chopped fenugreek leaves
  12. Cook till all the moisture evaporates.
  13. Finally add roasted and crushed kasthuri methi .
  14. Cook on high till dry
  15. Serve with onion and lemon.

My Tip:

Saute till it looks like roasted chicken.
