Shakarkand Seekh Kabab

Ingredients to make Shakarkand Seekh Kabab

  • 4 medium sized boiled and grated shakarkand
  • 1 tbsp chopped green chillies
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  • 1 tbsp kaju powder
  • Sendha namak as per taste
  • Oil for brushing the kababs
  • 5-6 skewers or seekh

How to make Shakarkand Seekh Kabab

  1. Soak the skewers for 10 min in water so that the mixture sticks to them nicely.
  2. Mix all the ingredients except oil and divide into equal portions. Heat a pan on low heat.
  3. Make cylinders with the mixture, now put each skewer in each cylinder and pressing with your palm stick it properly.
  4. Now put the kababs in the pan and brush little oil , let it cook on one side and then turn them , again brush with oil and let it cook until brown.
  5. In this way make all the kababs , from this quantity 8 kababs were made. You can serve this with green peanut chutney and kheera lachcha.
  6. Kababs are ready to be served. Enjoy.
My Tip: If you don't eat coriander during fasting you can avoid it as it will not make any major difference.
