How to make Falahari Masala dosa with green coconut chutney

  1. For Dosa: Mix both the powders together and add water little by little and make a semi thick batter. Leave the batter for at least 6 hours for fermentation.
  2. Now add salt to taste , heat a tawa , first on high then make it medium high.Grease the tawa and then wipe with a tissue or a soft piece of cloth. Pour the batter in the center with a ladle and spread in circular motion , making the shape of a dosa .
  3. Pour little oil on all sides and flip the dosa and roast on the other side . When becomes brown from both the sides take it out and serve.
  4. For Masala: Heat oil in a pan and put jeera , let it splutter and add green chillies and ginger , saute , then add red chilly powder and dhania powder ,mix well.
  5. Now add roughly mashed potatoes and salt , mix well and let them roast on low heat for 5-7 min. Now add amchur powder, mix well and add chopped coriander . It is ready to serve.
  6. For Green Coconut Chutney: Mix all the ingredients except curd in a mixer grinder and grind. Then add curd and again grind into a smooth paste , if the chutney is too thick then add little water. It is ready to serve.
  7. Serve dosas with potato masala and green coconut chutney.

My Tip:

Those who don't eat red chilly powder , dhania powder and coriander leaves during fasting , can avoid them and can use black pepper .
