About Elaichi Lassi (cardamom lassi) Recipe

Lassi is a popular traditional yogurt-based drink from the Indian Subcontinent.Traditional Cardamom Lassi is a blend of yogurt, water, sugar, cardamom and sometimes dryfruits.It is an authentic refreshing drink from Punjab.People there enjoy the drink both occasionally and in daily life.

Elaichi Lassi (cardamom lassi)

Ingredients to make Elaichi Lassi (cardamom lassi)

  • 2 cups - plain whole-milk yogurt(1cup = 250ml)
  • 4 tablespoon - sugar
  • 1 teaspoon - ground cardamom
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1 cup - ice cubes
  • For garnishing: 5 or 6 - cashews and raisins

How to make Elaichi Lassi (cardamom lassi)

  1. Put yogurt,ice cubes,water and ground cardamom into a blender 
  2. Add sugar to it.
  3. Blend it to the highest speed for 2-3minutes to be well combined.
  4. Divide lassi between glasses and garnish with cashews and raisins. Serve at once.

My Tip:

Hung curd is always a better option for the lassi.
