How to make Tali chaap

  1. Wash and drain the chaaps. Keep them aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds to it and wait until it starts to splutter.
  3. Add chaaps and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients to the chaaps.
  5. Cook until 3-4 whistles or until the chaaps become tender.
  6. Open the cooker, saute it until all the water dries and the oil starts to separate.
  7. Heat oil in a wok for frying.
  8. Beat the eggs in a bowl and add salt (as per the taste).
  9. Take 1 chaap, dip it in the beaten eggs, coat it with ground corn flakes or bread crumbs and place it carefully in the hot oil.
  10. Repeat until all chaaps are done.
  11. Fry them till they are golden brown.
  12. Serve them hot with chutney or ketchup.

My Tip:

Add salt carefully as it is used in two places. Use accordingly.
