About Haryanvi Meethe Pude Recipe

This is simple dish to prepare, easy to cook. Fennel seeds and cardamom powder added in this recipe will give excellent flavour. Adapted this recipe from a blog.

Haryanvi Meethe Pude

Ingredients to make Haryanvi Meethe Pude

  • wheat flour - 1/2 cup
  • jaggery - 1/4 cup
  • water - 1/2 cup + 1/4 cup
  • cardamom Powder - 1/8 tsp
  • fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil / ghee - For Cooking

How to make Haryanvi Meethe Pude

  1. Melt the jaggery with 1/2 cup water, strain the impurities and let it cool. Now add the wheat flour, mix it without lumps.
  2. Add 1/4 cup water and bring the batter to a pourable consistency. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Add the fennel seeds and cardamom powder and mix well. Heat ghee in a pan, pour a ladle of the batter. Drizzle ghee and cook on a medium flame. Cook it on both sides until the dosa gets well cooked.
  4. Serve warm as it is or with yoghurt or honey.

My Tip:

Always cook the dosa on a medium flame.
