Haryanvi Meethe Pude

Ingredients to make Haryanvi Meethe Pude

  • Wheat Flour - 1/2 cup
  • Jaggery - 1/4 cup
  • Water - 1/2 cup + 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom Powder - 1/8 tsp
  • Fennel Seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil / Ghee - For Cooking

How to make Haryanvi Meethe Pude

  1. Melt the jaggery with 1/2 cup water, strain the impurities and let it cool. Now add the wheat flour, mix it without lumps.
  2. Add 1/4 cup water and bring the batter to a pourable consistency. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Add the fennel seeds and cardamom powder and mix well. Heat ghee in a pan, pour a ladle of the batter. Drizzle ghee and cook on a medium flame. Cook it on both sides until the dosa gets well cooked.
  4. Serve warm as it is or with yoghurt or honey.
My Tip: Always cook the dosa on a medium flame.
