Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ingredients for Kadhi:
  2. 1 cup Strawberry Puree
  3. 1 cup sour curd
  4. 3 tablespoons gram flour
  5. 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  6. 4 red chilies
  7. 1/4 teaspoon Meethi seeds
  8. Pinch of hing
  9. 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  10. 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  11. 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  12. 2 dry red chilli
  13. 1 teaspoon chili powder
  14. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  15. 1 tablespoon oil
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Ingredients for pakodas:
  18. 2 cup garam flour
  19. 1 Teaspoon Chilli Powder
  20. 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped
  21. 1 teaspoon green chilli paste
  22. Salt to taste
  23. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Method for making pakoras:
  2. Take a mixing bowl, add garam flour along with chili powder, salt, green chilli paste and coriander leaves.
  3. Add water little by little so that it can form a thick batter of dropping consistency.
  4. Heat oil in a kadhai for deep frying, drop spoonful of the batter into it in small ball shapes.
  5. Like this make all pakoras.
  6. Method for making kadhi:
  7. Take a big mixing bowl, whisk sour curd with garam flour, strawberry puree and water. Make a smooth mixture without any lumps.
  8. Then add red chili powder, turmeric and salt and mix it properly.
  9. Heat oil in a kadhai, add cumin seeds, meethi seeds and hing.
  10. When cumin seeds start to crackle add red chili, ginger and garlic paste.
  11. Stir well and add the strawberry mixture and stirring constantly.
  12. Now lower down the heat stirring constantly till it starts boiling or till the kadhi gets thickened.
  13. Now add the fried pakodas to the kadhi.
  14. Before serving garnish it.
