Orangina Homemade Ice-cream

Ingredients to make Orangina Homemade Ice-cream

  • 4 Large fresh pulpy Citrus Oranges
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk (eg. Amul Mithaimate 200gms) - 1
  • Heavy Whipping Cream - 100 gms
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Orange/Red Food edible color - 1 drop/pinch

How to make Orangina Homemade Ice-cream

  1. Cut the oranges from the top so that the top can make a cover for the oranges later. Now scoop out all the pulp and juice from the oranges and cut top into a bowl. Add the lemon juice into it and blend the mixture. Strain the mixture into another bowl so that only liquid remains with us.
  2. Pour the condensed milk into this mixture and pour a drop of food color into it. Blend the whole mixture well for 2-3 minutes. Now cover the bowl with a cling film and freeze for 1.5 hours.
  3. Take the bowl out and churn the half frozen material again and again keep in the freezer for 1.5 hours covered with cling film. Take it out again and scoop this mixture into hollowed oranges in the first step and cover with their cut tops and place them in freezer for 3 hours.
  4. This will give a real and fresh non synthetic orange flavored ice cream as a result.

My Tip:

Second churning is very important and scooping the whole pulp and skin out of oranges gives a very good result in the end.
